BGMI is back on Google’s Play Store in India

You can now get BGMI from the Google Play Store.

Few days after announcing its return, Krafton's Indianized PUBG Mobile version, BGMI, is now accessible to Android users.  However, as of right now, the game hasn't been released on the Apple App Store, so BGMI users on the iPhone and iPad will have to wait.

PUBG Mobile and 117 other Chinese apps were initially prohibited in India in August 2022 by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The PUBG Mobile publisher, Krafton, then cooperated with the authorities to relaunch the game as BGMI with modifications for India, but only a few months later it was banned once more.

The reintroduction of BGMI in India was made possible by Krafton's continued collaboration with the Indian government. This time, the government will be monitoring the game for three months, according to the game developer. Even more, Krafton has agreed to make a number of adjustments, such as changing the colour of the blood from red to green.

The game will probably be prohibited once more if it breaks any of the rules established by the authorities.

There are now two ways to download BGMI in India. On an Android smartphone or tablet, one can either sideload the programme or download it. Users can also choose to download the game directly from the Google Play Store, though this is not advised. The size of the game is roughly 750 MB.
